The Fashion Journalism Club at Arizona State University will be hosting a semesterly charity fashion show called Chic in the City, 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17.

Put on entirely by the college students, this fashion show showcases the talent and creative vision of the students in the Arizona State fashion and art community.

Admission costs $12, which will be donated to FABRIC, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to providing apparel entrepreneurs with training, guidance, innovative industry resources and access to no-minimum and on-demand manufacturing so they can build sustainable fashion businesses domestically, according to an event listing.

The event will be held at FABRIC, 132 E. 6th St., Tempe.

In addition to viewing the Club’s fashion show, guests will be treated to various interactive elements including vendors, media and a red carpet. Cash donations are welcome at the door.

The Fashion Journalism Club is a student-run club based on Arizona State University’s Downtown Phoenix Campus. It consists of passionate writers who dream of working in the fashion journalism industry.

“We are extremely excited to host this event, and show off the powerful fashion community at ASU as well as give back to our community!,” Club representatives said in a posting about the event.
