Arizona's favorite Halloween costume an outlier among the U.S.

Arizonans looking for a Halloween costume this year may end up chasing a lot of rabbits.
The hopping bunny is consdered the most popular Halloween costume search in the state, according to data compiled by All Home Connections using Google Trends data from 2020 and searches to project this year's top Halloween costume.
Arizona was one of four states that featured Florida, Michigan and Virginia going for rabbits this year.
The report said the most popular costume for all states based on Google Trends was a witch, which hit the top spot in 14 states, including Arizona's neighbors California, Nevada and Utah.
Halloween has become a big-spending holiday, with the National Retail Federation saying Halloween-related items will fetch about $10.14 billion in sales, up considerably from 2020 and poised to set an alltime high. The average individual spending on Halloween is set to hit $102.74.
