The public is invited to attend a free exibit in Phoenix in commemoration of the 78th anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day.

The event is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Arizona Capitol Museum, 1700 W. Washington St., Phoenix.

In commemoration of the annivesary, the Arizona Capitol Museum is featuring the silver service that was on the ship prior to the attack, along with various other artifacts and a new model of the ship.

“The exhibit is a must-see for those interested in both WWII and Arizona history,” said Senior Museum Administrator Stephanie Mahan. “We are looking forward to sharing a new model of the USS Arizona with the public.”
