Robinson: I also support end-of-life decisions bill

I agree with Lynn Lane that we need this. My brother lived in Washington state and they have death with dignity. He had several issues, then they found he had bone cancer and 6-12 months to live.

He made the choice that he didn’t want to put his family through this period of watching him slowly die with side affects. He was 92, had a good life.

Now, to be able to do this, you don’t just ask a doctor for a pill, you go through many steps to get that permission.

Need doctor’s OK, need a psychologist to approve, then you have a short waiting period, in case you change your mind.

We treat our animals better than we treat humans. When our pets are in pain and can’t function, we have them put down.

Let us make that decision for ourselves.
