When Julie Cart arrived at Arizona State in 1975, the women’s track program was barely a blip on the radar of the athletic department. The team trained with the men, sweating and practicing on the same field and at the same time.
A statewide coalition of universities and utilities dedicated to combating the climate crisis will have a home in Tempe. The coalition will be housed in the Rob and Melani Walton Center for Planetary Health on Arizona State University’s campus.
The Arizona State softball program took its first step toward reaching the Women’s College World Series after going undefeated in regional play this past weekend. It will be the first time since 2018 that the Sun Devils will advance and host the Super Regional round.
