Turgel: My support for Hiral Tipirneni for Congress

Rarely have I volunteered my time on behalf of a political candidate. But as the Revolutionary War activist Thomas Paine said: “The times have found us.”

Well, these times have found us and encouraged me to raise my voice about an outstanding candidate.

This is why I am supporting Dr. Hiral Tipirneni to be the next Representative from Arizona’s 6th District. I have studied Hiral’s positions on the most important issues facing our country.

Hiral’s positions on healthcare, climate change, women’s reproduction rights, education, the economy and so much more will see her on the right side of history. As our next Congresswoman I know she will be committed to fairly representing all of us.

Hiral stands in stark contrast to Rep. David Schweikert, who has committed 11 ethics violations and continues to stand in lockstep with those who seek to divide and diminish. His time as a Congressman has to end; he does not represent the best of the district I have lived in for 16 years.

We need Hiral Tipirneni’s intellect, her courage, and her willingness to serve the interests of the district. I am proud to vote for her in November.
