Camelot Homes announces the opening of its third model home at The Villas at Seven Desert Mountain in north Scottsdale.

The luxury lock-and-leave lifestyle community started selling last year with two model homes. The third and newest model is open and showcases the third floor plan available in The Villas.

The new model home is 3,350 square feet and features three bedrooms plus a den and three and a half baths, according to a press release. It is single story, but the floor plan provides an option for a two-story with an included elevator.

The contemporary model has an expansive great room with pocket doors for optimized indoor/outdoor living, a separate den, a large wine wall and a wet bar. As with the other models, award-winning architect Robert Hidey designed the floor plan and Pacific Dimensions Residential designed the interior.

“After a successful launch of the first two model homes late last year, we are ecstatic to now have the third floor plan model for prospective home buyers to experience all that The Villas at Seven Desert Mountain has to offer,” Trent Hancock, vice president of marketing for Camelot Homes, said in a prepared statement.

Located in a private golf destination, The Villas includes 49 home sites with the majority of the lots on the championship par 54 golf course at Seven Desert Mountain.

Floor plans range from 2,600 to 4,500 square feet with two bedrooms, two and a half baths and a den up to four bedrooms, four and a half baths.

Each home features contemporary styling with great rooms, three-car garages, guest suites, soaring ceilings and panoramic views. Home prices start at $1.4 million prior to customization and lot selection.

Homeowners at The Villas at Seven Desert Mountain will become either lifestyle or equity golf members (subject to Desert Mountain membership approval). Owners will gain access to its  amenities including the newly renovated Sonoran Spa and Fitness Center, tennis complex, miles of private hiking and biking trails, six Jack Nicklaus signature par 72 championship golf courses, the championship par 54 course at Seven, five luxurious clubhouses and seven restaurants.

The model homes at The Villas at Seven Desert Mountain are open daily from noon to 5 p.m
