The Maricopa County Home and Garden Show brings a 'dream closet' to Scottsdale

The Maricopa County Home and Garden Show, the largest home show in the Southwest, returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and will feature free crafts for mothers and children in celebration of Mother’s Day.

Discover the joy of a Dream Closet and get the chance to walk away with a free pair of designer shoes to add to your own collection. Be sure to check out the hundreds of home improvement inspirations from local businesses, artisans, and companies all in one location for three days.

“For the first time at the Home Show we’re having two handmade headquarters,” Katie Jones, show manager, stated in the release. “It’s Mother’s Day weekend and we thought it’d be special to include mom and me activities.”

The Maricopa County Home & Garden Show, complete with hundreds of home improvement, design and landscaping products and services offered at exclusive Home Show pricing will also offer unique show attractions.

Wander into DEA’s Dream Closet and get the royal treatment with 100 pairs of designer shoes that line the shelves of this luxurious “Dream Closet” fit for a Queen. A variety of “mom and me” or individual make-and-take crafts will also be offered free with admission. 

Additional activities include a free landscape consultation and take-home design with landscaping professionals, a value of $350, a Q&A with a master gardener and information on how to equip your yard safely.

General Admission is $5 daily for adults and kids ages three through 12 are $2. Children two and younger are free. There will also be senior morning, Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with $1 admission for guests 60 and older.

Other specials include a Mom & Me Morning on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. where moms and kids receive free admission when they arrive together as well as customer appreciation $1 admission on Friday and Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

There is also a $1 admission with valid military identification on all three days. May birthdays can also visit the info booth for a special birthday gift with a valid ID.

Parking onsite for $10 — cash only and a large food court will be available to guests.
