Sunflower Bank grows in Scottsdale, adds wealth management group

Posted

Sunflower Bank has announced the addition of an 18-person wealth management group at its Scottsdale location.

The team joined Sunflower Bank Wealth Management from the acquisition of the trust and wealth advisory business of CIT Bank on Sept. 1, according to a press release, noting that more than $800 million of assets under administration to Sunflower Bank enhances its capacity to meet clients’ financial management and generational family planning needs.

The platform, the release said, has about $1.2 billion in assets under management and close to $2 billion in AUA.

“We are very excited to welcome our new wealth management clients and team members to Sunflower Bank,” said Chris Rude, Sunflower Bank’s regional president for Arizona, in a prepared statement.

“Sunflower Bank is committed to growing in greater Phoenix. These additions are a great complement to our robust wealth management, private banking, mortgage and commercial banking services.”

Sunflower Bank’s investment platform provides risk- and tax-optimized wealth solutions for clients, the release said, adding that services include trust, investment management, financial planning, brokerage and private banking.
