Scottsdazzle-themed Gold Palette ArtWalk happens Thursday, Dec 12

Independent Newsmedia
The Scottsdale Gallery Association’s Gold Palette ArtWalk is scheduled from 6:30-9 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12.
Correlating with the city’s Scottsdazzle holiday extravaganza, the event takes place within the Scottsdale Arts District along Main Street from Scottsdale Road west to Goldwater Boulevard and on Marshall Way north of Indian School Road to Fifth Avenue, according to a press release.
“In addition to our weekly ArtWalks, each Gold Palette ArtWalk allows our participating galleries to draw in the local artists’ community with a cohesive theme,” says French Thompson, president of the Scottsdale Gallery Association and owner of French Designer Jeweler located in the Scottsdale Arts District, in a prepared statement.
“Naturally our December ArtWalk is tied into the City of Scottsdale’s fabulous holiday extravaganza Scottsdazzle, so the spirit of the season will be alive and well this month in the Scottsdale Arts District.”
Participating galleries will feature special artists’ receptions and holiday-themed refreshments. Throughout the event, guests can also enjoy live holiday music along Main Street, strolling carolers, and a visit from Santa.
There will be the “perfect” gift ideas for art-loving friends and family in a range of prices available for shoppers to check off their Christmas lists while perusing galleries, the release added.
