Royse Contemporary extends ‘Summer Spectacular’ through Sept. 25

Scottsdale's Royse Contemporary is showcasing its annual “Summer Spectacular” group exhibition, through Sept. 25, featuring a stable of artists and several special guest artists.

Celebrating its five-year anniversary with a diverse collection of original artwork in various mediums, according to a press release.

“It is my honor to work with this talented group of artists, with their captivating styles, energetic imagery and vibrant color palettes,” said owner/curator, Nicole Royse, who has worked for the arts for more than a decade.

The exhibition features work from these artists: James Angel, Charmagne Vasquez, Cam DeCaussin, Gennaro Garcia, Cherie Buck-Hutchison, Peter Brian Klein, Marilyn Szabo, Daniel Shepherd, Casey Wakefield, Angel Cabrales; special guest artists, Monica Aissa Martinez, Ron Bimrose, Brenda Edwards, Dan Pederson, Joe Ray and James Anthony Peters.

“With such a variety of work there is something for everyone and I am truly thrilled to bring this stellar work and a powerful collection for our special anniversary,” stated Royse, noting each artist has a distinct voice, ingenuity, and accomplished resume.

Founded with the importance of art and it’s role in everyday lives, Royse has focused on building up, showcasing, educating the local arts community in the Valley, according to the release.

“We are truly honored to work with so many great artists as they grow and create; and are proud to be able to work for wonderful collectors from all around the country filling their homes and offices with Arizona art,” Royse said.

“We are proud to be celebrating five years of Royse Contemporary and look forward to many more to come!”

Royse Contemporary is in the Scottsdale Arts District in the Marshall Square complex at 7077 E. Main Street, Suite 6, Scottsdale. Hours are 6:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday and/or by appointment.
