Pont-Brown: Leading Scottsdale Schools through today's challenges

As we strive to provide the best possible experiences for our students, parents and educators today face numerous challenges.
Today, we battle COVID-19, encounter huge funding shortfalls, and face a crisis in our country over racial injustice, to name just a few.
We have the opportunity not only to continue some of the well-established practices that benefit our students, but also to make changes that will better equip them for lives of responsibility and contentment.
Julie Cieniawski has the experience, work ethic, and compassion necessary to get the job done.
As a former teacher in our district, she knows how decisions made by the governing board will play out at school sites and in classrooms. She will consider ALL our students and staff in her decisions.
She will lead with the empathy and wisdom she has gained from years of working with students, staff, and families in our district. Julie Cieniawski has my vote for SUSD Governing Board.
