Police: Suspect in Scottsdale shooting investigation dies

A man has died after being shot in Scottsdale on Sunday, officials say.
The suspect in this case, Nathan Lindman, 42, died as a result of the gun shot injury, Scottsdale Police Department spokesman Kevin Watts said.
According to Mr. Watts, the investigation has revealed that just after 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, two subjects became involved in a road rage incident in the area of 114th Street and Jenan Drive.
The victim in the incident, a 27-year-old male, left the scene and returned to his residence at 11545 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard. The victim was followed back to that location by the other subject, police say.
A verbal altercation between the two men ensued in the parking lot, police say.
During the altercation, Lindman reached into a bag, police say. The victim, fearing Lindman was reaching for a firearm, drew his weapon and shot striking Lindman.
Lindman then drove out of the complex where he collided with another vehicle, police say.
Arriving officers contacted him and provided first aide until fire personnel arrived on scene.
Lindman was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased as a result of the gunshot injury, police say.
