Phoenix Suns donate to Scottsdale’s Musically Fed

Posted

The Phoenix Suns, Talking Stick Resort Arena and Levy Restaurants recently donated over 6,000 pounds of food and perishable supplies to local non-profit Musically Fed.

Musically Fed will distribute the donation to several community partners throughout the Valley in this time of great need, according to a press release.

The Scottsdale-based organization works with artists, promoters, management, and venues nationwide to donate unused, backstage meals and kitchen supplies to community organizations.

Those community organizations include at least 50% veterans as well as those that focus on feeding the homeless, hungry, and food insecure.

The NBA has temporarily suspended its season in response to COVID-19 and several arena shows and events have been postponed or rescheduled for a later date.
