New preschool location opens in Scottsdale
Posted
Locally owned and operated Whiz Kidz Preschools will officially open its fifth location on Tuesday, July 5 as demand for childcare in the Valley continues to rise.
Located at 11090 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd., the new Scottsdale preschool will be the second Whiz Kidz in Scottsdale and will offer year-round enrollment, according to a press release.
Families can call 480-999-0944 to reserve their spot today.
The new Whiz Kidz Preschool took over space previously occupied by Sunrise Preschool. The 8,500-square-foot building features large classrooms that will serve upwards of 180 students and a beautiful outdoor playground. Whiz Kidz offers flexible programs for infants, toddlers and school-aged kids, the release explained.
They will provide before and after school care only at this new location in addition to Ahwatukee, which opened in 2021, and a summer camp for kids ages five to 12.
Founded in 2007 by Arizona mother and certified teacher Martha Picciao, Whiz Kidz Preschool focuses on a quality early childhood education with a play-based curriculum that includes enrichment classes such as gardening, music, PE, cooking and art all while offering ample opportunities for children to explore their own expression and creativity.
Whiz Kidz Preschool has four existing locations in Scottsdale, Phoenix, Ahwatukee and Mesa.
