Macayo’s Mexican Food opens new location this month

Amid its 75th anniversary year, beloved local brand continues expansion and returns to Scottsdale

Due to popular demand and continued plans for expansion, Macayo’s returns to Scottsdale with a new location at the intersection of the 101 freeway and Shea Boulevard, now open.

Macayo’s Mexican Food has made a name for itself in the valley over the past 75 years, celebrating its official anniversary later this year on September 26.

“Scottsdale was a wonderful home for us in the past, so we’re thrilled to return to the area and revive the love for our brand with a new and improved location for Macayo’s fans in the surrounding neighborhoods,” Nava Singam, owner of Kind Hospitality, stated in the release.

Kind Hospitality, a food services management company, is the owner and operator of Macayo’s Mexican Food locations.

With a name that diners know and the food they love, Macayo’s in Scottsdale features the same menu as other valley-wide locations with traditional Mexican fare and specialties like the tres rellenos, green chile pork stew, chicken poblano and more.

“Conveniently positioned off the 101, this location gives diners easy access to the traditional, authentic Mexican food and the high level of customer service they have come to love and expect during a visit to Macayo’s,” Singam stated.

Macayo’s also offers a full bar and is well-known for its high-quality selection of margaritas, served in an iconic Bob or Cha Cha souvenir ceramic margarita glass.
