Mexico-based fashion designer, Sonia Falcone, recently announced the American launch of her new collection with the Sip and Shop Event at Wardrobe Apparel in Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Ms. Falcone’s work has appeared at the Venice Biennial on twice, according to a press release adding that she partnered with Canadian businesswoman Alexandra Thompson, owner of Wardrobe Apparel store to enter the American market with her signature AMA Designs by Sonia Falcone.

The contemporary designer, Falcone has entered in the fashion world with her Cabo Chic AMA Designs by Sonia Falcone collection, which emerged amidst the pandemic with the primary objective of creating employment for a group of seamstresses from Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, the release said of efforts to provide for families.

Ms. Falcone, president and founder of AMA Saving the Oceans, is noted to have entered the fashion design industry four months ago. Making a name for herself, she has since joined with Wardrobe Apparel, and her line is featured in the store at Scottsdale Fashion Square.

The Wardrobe Apparel team curates with the “avant-garde and influential trendsetters in mind, going beyond mass-produced and creating a lifestyle unique to the cultured and well-traveled career woman.”

Alexandra Thompson, whose firm is said to be highly regarded in Vancouver, Canada, is described as a fan of wardrobe and individual, as well as the force behind Wardrobe Apparel, which led her to partner with Ms. Falcone and embark on the new Arizona endeavor together.

The AMA Designs by Sonia Falcone firm has elegant kaftans - the creative designer’s favorites - blouses, shorts, cover up’s, among other garments made with 100% natural materials such as linen, silk and cotton, the release detailed.

Part of the sales of the various articles of the AMA Designs by Sonia Falcone firm will go to the social programs, as well as the conservation of marine life of the AMA Saving The Oceans Foundation, which include creating the AMA Marine Life Museum and supporting the San José Down Syndrome Center.
