Fitzgerald delivers meals to Banner University workers

Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald Jr. recently visited Banner University Medical Center’s Poison and Drug Information Center to deliver 25 dinners to frontline workers.

Mr. Fitzgerald also brough meals for the family of Lauren Leander, a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Banner University as well as other home visits to Banner Health team members,

Members of the medical community have worked to treat patients suffering from COVID-19, a disease which the novel coronavirus causes. As of the morning of May 1, Arizona has 7,962 confirmed cases with 4,156 confirmed cases in Maricopa County.

These numbers have led to 330 deaths across the state and 152 deaths in Maricopa County, according to reported numbers on the morning of May 1.
