Kierland POP’s fifth-annual outdoor festival is Friday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Nov. 7 in Scottsdale.

The festival kicks off from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 5, with Live Music on Main Street at Kierland Commons. Stanley Serrano will perform from 10 a.m. to noon, Vinyl Station will perform from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., and TEMPO will perform from 5 to 8 p.m. on this day, according to a press release.

Also on Friday, Nov. 5, the Kierland POP Experience will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Westin Kierland Resort, with an immersive sensory experience of sound and taste. During this event, the resort’s Northern Sky Terrace will host soulful jazz music from Doc Jones & Friends and violinist Jonathan Levingston.

The music will be complemented by various resort’s restaurants as well as restaurants from Kierland Commons, the release said.

“Friday night’s Kierland POP Experience is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy live jazz music and taste delicious food and wine from popular area restaurants,” said Derrek Ellis, general manager of The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, in the release.

“Saturday evening’s 5K Fun Run and Walk also allows you to experience the beautiful outdoors during such a perfect time of year for Arizona. The best part of all is that your ticket purchases to these events will benefit some really great causes.”

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 6, the celebration continues with the Kierland POP Festival – a series of free, outdoor activities at Kierland Commons featuring local musicians and artisans, exhibiting and performing artists, painters, and much more.

Attendees can enjoy live music and entertainment, art in unexpected places from SAACA artists, and the opportunity to do some early holiday shopping from an artisan market featuring dozens of local creators and makers selling a variety of beautiful handmade creations.

Also, from 6 to 8 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 6, a 5K Fun Run and Walk will take place around The Westin Kierland Golf Club, benefiting local breast cancer nonprofit Check for a Lump. All participants will receive a Night Run T-shirt and a finisher’s medal. Register for the run/walk at https://bit.ly/kierlandpop5k.
