‘The Goonies’ drive-in movie Saturday at Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds

A drive-in movie will be held for $5 a vehicle at 6:45 p.m. p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds, 1590 E. Lost Dutchman Blvd.

“The Goonies” will be shown at the Apache Junction Parks and Recreation Department event.

Pre-registration and tickets are required at facebook.com/ajparksandrec/events.

The movie is subject to change based on licensing availability. Tickets from third-party sellers are not valid.

Gates are to open at 6:15 p.m. Social-distancing guidelines will be in place for the movie.

“You will be asked to park to the front left of your space and you can exit your car if you prefer and view the movie from the right of your vehicle. We will be playing the movie audio through our sound system speakers and will not be broadcasting it to car radios. Patrons will have access to the restroom facilities,” according to a Facebook event post.
