Sprint cars return to Arizona Speedway June 20

It’s been seven months since Arizona Speedway has seen the ground-pounding, non-winged sprint cars, which are to race Saturday night.

ASCS San Tan Ford Sprint Cars Series returns to their home track. Co-headlining the event will be IMCA Modifieds, Sport Mods and Bombers, according to a release.

Arizona Speedway is at 48700 N. Ironwood Drive in Queen Creek. It is within ET Motopark, 5 miles south of U.S. Highway 60 in Apache Junction.

Racing begins at 7:45 p.m. June 20. Pit gates open at 4 p.m., front gates open at 6 p.m.

Front gate tickets and pit passes are recommended to be purchased in advance, $20 for adults, $5 kids 6-12, kids 5 and under still free.

Tickets are available at ArizonaSpeedway.net. With a limited number of tickets for sale --- only 50% of the capacity are to be sold ---fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as they will likely sell out, the release states.
