Road restrictions through Nov. 5 for Loop 101 Price Freeway project

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers on the Loop 101 Price Freeway to slow down in the construction zone and use caution around personnel and equipment.

ADOT’s Price Freeway improvement project will add one new travel lane in each direction along Loop 101 between Baseline Road and the Loop 202 Santan Freeway, according to a release.

The he following restrictions are scheduled to be in place through Nov. 5:

  • Westbound Chandler Boulevard will be closed at the Price Freeway at the following times: 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, to 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2; 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, to 6 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3; and 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.
  • Eastbound Chandler Boulevard will be narrowed to one lane at the Price Freeway from 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5.
  • The southbound Price Freeway will be narrowed to two lanes overnight between Warner and Ray roads from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning on Friday, Nov. 1, and continuing through the morning of Sunday, Nov. 4 and from 10 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, to 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5.

Upcoming full closures include:

  • Chandler Boulevard will be closed in both directions at the Price Freeway from 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, to 5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8: East- and westbound drivers can use the freeway frontage roads (Price Road) to get around the closure. Westbound drivers on Chandler Boulevard will be directed north to Ray Road. Eastbound drivers will be directed south to Frye Road.

Ongoing extended closures include:

  • The southbound Price Freeway on-ramp at Warner Road and off-ramp at Ray Road remains closed until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26.
  • The northbound Price Freeway on-ramp at Elliot Road and off-ramp at Guadalupe Road will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2.
