Queen Creek town council candidate packets available

Candidate packets for next year's Queen Creek primary and general election are now available from the Town Clerk’s office at 22358 S. Ellsworth Road.

The office of mayor and three council members will be on the ballot for the primary election held on  Aug. 2, 2022 and, if necessary, the general election held on Nov. 8, 2022.

Appointments are not required but are strongly recommended. Candidate packets must be turned into the Town Clerk’s office between March 7 and April 4 by 5 p.m.  

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and a qualified elector
  • Must be able to speak, write, and read the English language
  • Must reside within the town of Queen Creek boundaries or annexed area at least one-year preceding the election
  • Must not be a current employee with the town of Queen Creek
  • Must not have been convicted of a felony or treason, unless their civil rights have been restored
  • Must not have been adjudicated an “incapacitated person”

Register to vote at www.servicearizona.com or you can request a form from Maricopa County at www.maricopa.gov or Pinal County at www.pinalcountyaz.gov.
