Queen Creek restaurant hosts holiday toy drive challenge

Posted

Locally owned and family operated Frutilandia, a restaurant concept crafting authentic Latin treats, is hosting the “Frutilandia Toy Drive Challenge” at all eight of its locations throughout the Valley, including one in Queen Creek.

Frutilandia invites the Valley community to join this holiday initiative by donating new, unwrapped toys this holiday season to children and families in need around, according to a press release.

The restaurant’s founding family, franchise owners and team members will deliver the donated toys to children in need. As a thank you to guests who donate toys, Frutilandia will also match every toy donation in addition to offering a $5 off coupon to customers for every toy donated.

In Queen Creek, the toys can be dropped off at Frutilandia’s location at 21803 S. Ellsworth Road.

Other Frutilandia locations include:

  • 55 E. Ray Road, Chandler
  • 1011 S. Gilbert Road, Mesa
  • 351 N. Country Club Drive, Mesa
  • 5127 W. Indian School Road, Suite 110, Phoenix
  • 9897 W. McDowell Road, Tolleson

The Frutilandia Toy Drive Challenge is taking place now until Dec. 20, with toy deliveries to children and families taking place on Dec. 21-23.

Founded in 2006 by the Garfio Family, Frutilandia offers Mexican and Latin desserts and bites.
