Michael B. Gamble

Michael departed this world on Friday, November 13, 2020. He was born on January 10, 1947 in Johnstown, PA and raised in Bolivar, PA. He graduated from Laurel Valley High School, New Florence, PA and Vale Tec, Blairsville, PA. Michael was a veteran, having joined the USAF on November 2, 1965 and proudly serving his country.
In 1981, Michael and his family moved across country to Phoenix, AZ. He ended up in Sun City West where he enjoyed his retirement. He was a member of the Surprise Church of Christ and the Sun City West Karaoke Club where he would spend singing songs of Elvis Presley, his favorite singer. He also appreciated and owned his own old cars and antiques.
Mike donated to the Parkinson’s foundation and spoke to other persons who had Parkinson’s and to their loved ones. He never let his Parkinson’s get control of him.
He leaves behind his wife, Karen Ferri Gamble; his daughter, Crystal (Tim) Johnson; his son, Douglas Gamble; and the loves of his life, his granddaughters, Emma Gamble and Bryn Johnson. He also loved his nieces and nephews, his cousins, and many friends in Sun City West. He is preceded in death by his parents, Blair and Margaret Gamble, brother Eugene Gamble, sisters D. Romayne Altimus, and Margie Russell.
A small ceremony was held in Sun City West where he is placed to rest.
