What I do: Retired and home business of sewing alterations, knitting, crocheting and sewing
What I like most about doing business here: meeting all different types of people. I like putting smiles on everyone face to help make their day brighter
Changes I’d like to see in this area: Maybe more trees
What am I promoting: Myself and my sewing alteration business.
What I’m excited about and why: There is room for growth. I will be going back to school for a sewing alteration course to hone my skills.
Favorite community cause and why: Meridian --- friendly people, safe to be in, great location
When and why I started my business/employment here: Started in Penna moved to Arizona. Worked for The Vanguard Group of investments
Where I was before and why I left: Lived in Penna until I moved here 17 years ago for the warm/hot weather.
My family: Husband – builder, four grown children, grandchildren and great grands.

People who inspire me (and how): My mother. She would do anything for anyone. She was always making clothing for her children that were warm, made with love.
My guiding philosophy: Be kind, treat others as you want to be treated, be truthful and honest to all.
My advice to today’s youth: Be truthful and kind to all. You never know who will come back to help you.
