U.S. Egg partners with Arizona Helping Hands for toy drive

New toys, pajamas will be collected in November

U.S. Egg, a Valley breakfast and lunch spot, is teaming up with Arizona Helping Hands this November for its annual toy and pajama drive benefiting boys and girls in foster care.

Arizona Helping Hands is the largest organization in Arizona that provides beds, cribs, clothing, toiletries, birthday gifts, holiday toys, backpacks with school supplies, licensing safety items, and more to over 14,000 children in foster care.

“We are excited to partner with Arizona Helping Hands again to help support boys and girls in foster care,” said George Gebran, U.S. Egg’s COO and co-owner. “As a family-oriented business, it is important for us to give back to the children in our community and we hope the public will join us in donating and impacting the lives of these children in a positive way.”

For the entire month of November, all six Valley U.S. Egg locations will be collecting new toys and pajamas that will be donated to Arizona Helping Hands. The greatest need is for pajamas, diapers and hygiene items, according to a press release. Participants can enjoy a breakfast or lunch at the restaurant while also providing support and kindness to foster families before the holiday season.

“Arizona Helping Hands is committed to our mission of providing essential needs to children in foster care in Arizona, but we simply cannot do it alone,” said Maureen Noe, president and CEO of Arizona Helping Hands. “We are grateful to our corporate and community partners like U.S. Egg. The pajama drive will bring hope to Arizona’s most vulnerable population, children who have been abused and neglected. We are humbled and encouraged by the continued support.”
