The Cosanti Foundation to hold 'Ring for Hope' virtual event

Posted

The Cosanti Foundation in Paradise Valley is hosting a special “Ring for Hope” virtual event to recognize those affected by the pandemic.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the event will be held via Facebook Live and Instagram at 6:55 p.m. (MST) on Friday, April 24, according to a press release, inviting participants to join the virtual event as longtime Cosanti Foundryman Jeff Hildebrand initiates the bell ringing ceremony.

The ceremony will include some of Cosanti and the bells’ unique history and some inspirational words of hope, the release said.

At sun set, participants are encouraged to ring their Cosanti bronze or ceramic wind bells from the safety of their homes to recognize those whose lives were lost to COVID-19 or those suffering from the virus, according to the release.

First responders, healthcare workers, grocery and delivery services members and all who are doing what they can to stop the spread of COVID-19 will also be honored, the release added.

The bell ringing event, the release noted, serves to inspire hope and “instill connectivity amid social distancing requirements that leave many missing their families, friends and loved ones.”

Although Cosanti bells are not required to participate, Cosanti is offering a  15% off discount on the bells, especially for this event, the release detailed, adding that guests may use code RINGHOPE15 when ordering online.

However, the discount is not valid on the one-of-a-kind sculptural bell mobiles or sculptures.
