A juvenile has been arrested in connection with a weekend shooting and charged on counts of murder and aggravated assault, Phoenix police said.

The arrest was made Sept. 22 after police said they found evidence linking the suspect to a shooting that occurred about midnight Sept. 21.

An officer near 1200 South 7th Avenue was flagged down and found a vehicle that contained three juveniles with gunshot wounds.  All were taken to a hospital.

Two of the victims had non-life-threatening injuries.  The third teenage male did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The original shooting scene was near 13th Street and Van Buren streets.
