Phoenix police: Missing 5-month-old girl found safe

Phoenix police said Wednesday a missing 5-month-old girl who was taken from her foster family Aug. 6 has been found.

Eunice Salinas is safe, police reported.

The girl was in the care of her foster family when her biological mother, Angelica Salinas, came to the home and “forcibly removed her,” police said this weekend.

The mother does not have custodial rights, and “there is concern for the child’s safety,” police said Sunday.

Police said they will provide more information as it becomes available.
