Frontier Airlines marks new Phoenix routes with $19 fares

Posted

Frontier Airlines, Phoenix's fourth-largest carrier, has announced 10 new routes from Sky Harbor that will begin in the winter season.

The new nonstop service from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport will be to Philadelphia, Baltimore-Washington, Orange County, Seattle-Tacoma, Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Portland, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Nashville, Indianapolis and Kansas City.

Frontier Airlines President and CEO Barry Biffle said the airlines will celebrate the new routes with fares as low as $19.

Frontier's growth at Sky Harbor "will be supported through the planned November opening of a new crew base, which is expected to initially employ up to 180 pilots and 275 flight attendants," a release stated.

“Frontier Airlines is quickly advancing in Phoenix, and these 10 new routes mark the growth of business and leisure travelers choosing our great city as a destination," Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said in the release.
