Baie: I support Andrew Gould for Arizona Attorney General

Posted

He is soft spoken but very strong on law and order, especially regarding illegal border crossings.

His extensive experience and knowledge of the law is exemplified by his proposed solution to our border problem.

He proposes posting “Private Property, Keep Out” signs on ranchlands in southern Arizona. The sheriffs’ departments can then arrest violators, and county attorneys can then prosecute offenders. This overcomes the problem of not being able to build costly walls on Indian Reservations and federal lands without permission.

Andrew Gould believes so strongly in Arizona and its citizens that he gave up his position as a judge on the Arizona Supreme Court so he could run for attorney general. As attorney general, Andrew Gould will be able to directly attack border and other crimes as these occur.

Andrew Gould has much more experience than the other AG candidates, including as a major crime prosecutor in Yuma and Maricopa Counties, along with being a judge on the Arizona Court of Appeals, prior to his tenure on the Arizona Supreme Court.

I believe he is far and away the best qualified candidate for attorney general. I strongly recommend voting for him.
