The West Valley Symphony board of directors has canceled the group’s remaining concerts for the season, due to the continued increase in COVID cases.
The Vista (formerly known as Valley Vista Performing Arts Center) in Surprise has been booked for six concerts in the upcoming 2021-22 concert season and those dates and concert programs will be announced in the spring.
Individuals holding series tickets for the canceled season 2020-21 have several options concerning tickets: 1) apply series ticket purchase price to the upcoming 2021-22 season and retain current seating; 2) donate those funds to the Symphony to support ongoing expenses, including a stipend to musicians who have suffered financially from the cancellation; or 3) request a refund for the cost of season tickets.
Additionally, tickets for the concert featuring the Phoenician Tenors that was originally scheduled for March 29, 2020, postponed to March 21, 2021 and now cancelled due to the pandemic, are no longer valid. Anyone holding those tickets can donate the ticket price to the Symphony to support ongoing expenses and the musician stipend or request a refund.
The above ticketing choices must be made in writing to the West Valley Symphony, PO Box 7328, Surprise AZ 85374, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Include a note with handling preference and the concert name or series and number of tickets held. Include name, current address, email and/or telephone.
