I appreciated your good news story on the young ladies from Peoria High School and their outreach to Sun City residents.

Tracy: Youths’ COVID kit outreach effort virtuous

Posted

I appreciated your good news story on the young ladies from Peoria High School and their outreach to Sun City residents.

They are fine examples of virtuous youth making a difference in the community. Their efforts were embraced by others who donated to the project. It is proof that the “can do” attitude and good kids exist.

Although I did not receive a survival kit, I know those who did. They were so pleased, excited to be “chosen” and impressed. Their enthusiasm was a gift to me.

Thanks, again for spotlighting a positive in these challenging times.
