The Peoria Film Fest is returning for a third year on Sept. 17-19.

The team behind the Phoenix Film Festival will host this three-day festival in Peoria at Harkins Arrowhead Fountains Theatre, located at 16046 N. Arrowhead Fountains Center Dr.

The festival’s opening night will be at Headquarters in the P83 Entertainment District.

“I’m Your Man,” starring Dan Stevens and Maren Eggert, will cap off the opening night. This film is about a scientist who is coerced into participating in a study in order to obtain research funds for her own work. For three weeks, she has to live with a humanoid robot tailored to her character and needs, whose artificial intelligence is designed to be the perfect life partner for her. The film is a humorous tale about the questions of love, longing and what makes a human being human.
