Registration open for Peoria fall youth sports leagues

Peoria Sports is now registering for the 2020 fall youth sports leagues.

Flag football (ages 5 to 14), machine pitch baseball (6 to 8), soccer (3 to 14) and T-Ball (4 to 6) will be offered. Volleyball will not be offered this fall.

The season last seven weeks. Friday evening games are possible this season.

The first games will be either Oct. 16 or 17, with the season running through Nov. 20 or 21.

Spectators are asked to keep six feet apart while in common, sideline and spectator areas, Only one spectator per participant allowed at practices and games. Spectators are encouraged to stay in their vehicle during practices if able. Spectators must bring their own chair and set chairs to keep six-foot physical distance from others.

All volunteer coaches are required to wear face masks/face coverings at all games and practices. All spectators and substitute players (not actively playing) should wear face masks/face coverings at all games and practices.
