Peoria police seek assistance in locating missing man

Peoria Police are seeking the public’s help in locating Carlos Bocanegra, 39.

Bocanegra is an Hispanic male, 6-feet all, 214 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing gray pants and blue suede boots.

Bocanegra texted a family member on Sept. 8, around 8 p.m., stating he was with someone by the name of “Asley” and he would call when his phone was charged.

According to family, Bocanegra suffers from mental health-realated issues and his mind resets every 72 hours. Officers have been actively looking for Bocanegra, but have not been able to locate him.
