Posted
Independent Newsmedia
Both Peoria libraries have expanded operating hours for further public use.
Peoria Main and Sunrise Mountain libraries will now be open Mondays and Wednesdays 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays Noon - 5 p.m. Peoria libraries are closed on Sundays.
Face coverings are required for all who enter the building.
The expanded library hours will allow patrons to browse the stacks, check out periodicals and use the computer labs.
Per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, Peoria libraries will be limited to 25% of approved maximum occupancy.
Patrons will be limited to visits of 60 minutes or less so all patrons will have an opportunity to use library services.
