Peoria hosts recycling, shredding event

Peoria is hosting a free document shredding and electronics recycling event, courtesy of Peoria’s Solid Waste Division.

Come by the Peoria Sports Complex, located at 16101 N. 83rd Ave. on Saturday, Oct. 29. The event takes place from 8 a.m. to noon.
Residents can bring up to three banker boxes of documents per household for secure, on-site document shredding. Small electronics and home appliances can also be dropped off for recycling.
