Joseph Arthur Pivirotto, Jr. - 83 of Prescott Valley, Arizona, formerly from Sun City West (SCW), Arizona, peacefully passed away on August 31, 2022. Known to many as Jack, he was the oldest of six children and was born on May 13, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Joseph A. Pivirotto and Betty V. Dunn. He graduated from North Allegheny High School in 1957, attended John Carroll University and enlisted in the Army in 1960. In 1961, Jack married the love of his life Barbara. They were married 61 years, and with that union, came his two children and five grandchildren. His legacy will continue for many generations.
Jack had many passions, including volunteering. He was a Volunteer Fireman in McCandless Twp, PA, President of the Phoenix Roadrunners Hockey Booster Club, President of the SCW Bocce Club, Treasurer of the SCW Pennsylvania Club, and Secretary and Treasurer of the SCW Model Railroad Club. Jack's biggest passion was his family where he was a coach, cheerleader and fan of his children’s and grandchildren's sports teams. Jack was an entrepreneur and founded trucking company BAJA Leasing Corporation, and after retirement he became a realtor. He always enjoyed helping others, organizing events and was a true salesman.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Lawrence Pivirotto, children Sandra (Steven) Clark of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Joseph (Diane) Pivirotto III of Milton, Georgia, grandchildren Emily and Victoria Clark, Andrew, Kate and Jack Pivirotto, siblings Vaughn Stropka, Catherine (John) Melby, Mary Ann (Janusz) Kemper-Radzieta, Ellen (Luis) Cortinas and sister-in-law Pirris Pivirotto. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Paul Pivirotto and brothers-in-law John Kemper and Ted Stropka.
