Former Surprise resident back in town for one show

Now living in England, Freddie Hall will take the stage in Peoria

Currently living in England, singer/guitarist and former Surprise resident Freddie Hall returns to the West Valley with a one-night performance.

Hall will bring his blend of Motown, soul and rock and roll to a 6 p.m. show Thursday, Dec. 22 at Chef Peters Bistro at Westbrook, 19260 N. Westbrook Pkwy., in Peoria, on the north side of Union Hills Drive, just a few blocks east of 99th Avenue.

He grew up listening to a variety of musicians and genres that have played an influential role in shaping his signature sound. Now, he performs both covers and original music.

“I always try to play at least one show while I’m here, to meet up with old friends, and make some new ones,” Hall said. “It’s always a thrill to come back to the States.”

Joining Hall for the show will be Sun City resident Rich La Rose (who also features in local bands Rewind and the Priscilla Rose Band”) on bass and vocals, and Peoria resident Gordie Robell, who plays sax and drums — sometimes simultaneously.
