As the new school year kicks off, universities around the country continue to finalize their dean’s lists and make announcements about their latest graduates, including Arizona students hailing from Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.

Sora Brumer of Scottsdale, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s metropolitan campus located in Teaneck, NJ, graduated with a master of science in May 2022.

The university’s metropolitan campus, located in the dynamic NY/NJ corridor in Teaneck, NJ, features a university atmosphere with an international perspective, attracting students from the U.S. and around the world, according to a press release.

Undergraduates have access to the resources of a major graduate center and nearby New York City as an integral part of their learning experience.

At Tufts University, which has campuses in Boston, Medford/Somerville and Grafton, MA as well as in Talloires, France, approximately 3,275 students across all schools graduated on May 22 during a university-wide commencement ceremony, a press release explained.

Grant Smith of Paradise Valley graduated with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and Connor Sheridan of Scottsdale graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts in quantitative economics from Tufts University.

As stated in the release, Tufts University is recognized among the premier research universities in the United States.

Tufts University also announced its dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester.

Student Kayli Battel of Paradise Valley, class of 2024, was named to the dean’s list for the spring 2022 semester.
