‘Pooh’ to celebrate Fountain Hills Youth Theater’s 100th production

Fountain Hills Youth Theater will present “Winnie the Pooh, KIDS!” as the 100th production to be presented on the youth stage.

The Youth Theater just celebrated its 20th anniversary and now celebrates this new milestone.

The production will run from Friday, June 3 through Sunday, June 12 at Fountain Hills Theater, 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd. Friday and Saturday shows start at 7 p.m., and Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m.

“Winnie the Pooh, KIDS!” features music adapted and arranged, plus additional music and lyrics by Will Van Dyke, and is based on the classic stories by A.A. Milne and the Disney animated film.

The show is produced by Haylee Klein, directed by Ross Collins, musically directed by Jay Melberg, and choreographed by Lily Whimple. The cast includes Kellen Bryant, Lydia Hill, Aliya Holzkopf, Hope Kalin, Asher Long, Mak Meyer, Yancy Murphy, Adam Oberg, Jonathan Phillippi, Leah Phillippi, Rachel Phillippi, Noah Zaenker and Zach Zaenker.
