Dutch Bros Phoenix partnered with customers to raise $78,000 for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The record-breaking amount was raised from $1 of every drink sold on Tuesday, April 6, plus an additional contribution from the Dutch Bros Foundation donated to Phoenix Children’s Hope Fund.
Phoenix Children’s Hope Fund, according to a press release, is “a critical source of funding for the areas of greatest need” at Phoenix Children’s Resources from the Hope Fund, which helps with advances in technology, clinical trials and medical breakthroughs that impact a patient’s recovery.
“Every year, our amazing community steps up to help us support Phoenix Children’s Hospital,” said Josh Hayes of Dutch Bros Phoenix, in a prepared statemet. “We’re so incredibly thankful to be a small part in giving children and families hope.”
The Dutch Bros Foundation is said to be dedicated to building deeper connections through engagement in the communities served. Through the foundation, Dutch Bros donates several million dollars to its local communities and nonprofit organizations.
“Phoenix Children’s Hospital radiates love and light through the life-saving work they do every day,” said Dutch Bros VP of Philanthropy, Katie Hutchinson, in a prepared statement.
“We’re honored to support their mission and are truly amazed to see how big our customers showed up for their community.
“The outpouring of community support for the Dutch Bros Day of Giving was astounding,” said Steve Schnall, senior vice president and chief development officer at Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation, in a prepared statement.
