Paradise Valley police respond to recent motor vehicle theft

Posted

The Paradise Valley Police Department received a report of a stolen golf car and want the public’s help with information regarding the motor vehicle theft.

Reportedly, the incident occurred between 12:01-6 a.m., Oct. 3 in the 5400 block of east Lincoln Drive, according to a police press release.

Police responded to the concern on Oct. 8, regarding the missing tan golf cart with wood panels. The stolen golf cart, with serial number 3435207, was entered in to the national stolen database.

The PVPD’s Criminal Investigations Unit will reportedly follow up on this crime but seek any information regarding this case, according to the release.

Call the PVPD at 480-948-7410; do not hesitate to call the police if there is anything suspicious in the neighborhood. The emergency number is 9-1-1 and the PVPD Crime Stop number is 480-948-7410 for any other types of call.

People are encouraged to engage neighbors and ask if familiar with the #NineOClockWalk Campaign, which involves making a nightly habit to help change the "face of crime prevention," and keep neighborhoods crime-free by "walking it out."

Search #NineOClockWalk on social media for safety tips and schedule an annual Home Security Review by contacting Community Resource Officer Steven McGhee at smcghee@paradisevalleyaz.gov.
