Nightly Menorah lighting for Chanukah held in Carefree

With the start of Hanukkah on Dec. 18, there will be eight nights of Menorah lighting at the Sanderson Lincoln Pavilion in Carefree.

These eight Menorah lighting events will begin at 5:30 p.m. every evening. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. The lighting will be led by a different community group or family each night. Gift bags will be available for children every evening as well as chocolate Hanukkah gelt for all. Live streaming will be available each evening.

On Tuesday, Dec. 20, there will be a special “Valley of the Sun JCC Family Night.” Families are invited to attend and enjoy Hanukkah games, arts and crafts, storytelling and songs. Both members and non-members of the Valley of the Sun JCC in Scottsdale are invited to attend.
