Curbside pickup: The Scottsdale Plaza Resort brings pizza to patrons

The Scottsdale Plaza Resort has launched a pop-up curbside pizza offering.

“At The Scottsdale Plaza Resort, we are looking for ways to help keep our employees working during these unprecedented times. One of the ways we are doing this is by introducing JD’s and Pop Up Pizza curbside offerings to the Paradise Valley, Scottsdale and Valley residents,” said Senior Vice President Sean Sachs in a prepared statement.

In the wake of social distancing, the resort has decided to provide a service for  Scottsdale and Paradise Valley residents and neighbors to help them through these challenging times.

In the fall of 2019, The Scottsdale Plaza Resort created a new dining option that included a wood fired pizza oven with indoor and outdoor terrace seating overlooking its main pool.

Pop Up Pizza features a variety of pizzas such as the Prosciutto and Arugula pizza or the Verdure, along with other hand-sized bites.

Pop Up Pizza also has family meals for those residents who want dinner for their entire family. In the fall, the Pop Up Pizza concept was tested with guests at the Plaza, “everyone raved about it,” said Erik Forrest, “we knew we had a hit on our hands.”

Call The Scottsdale Plaza Resort at 480-948-5000 and ask for Room Service. Place your order and tell them when you want to pick up your order.

At the time of pickup, drive to the main entrance of the resort, tell the bellman your name and they will bring your order directly to your car.

The resort is offering 20% off people’s first order. Free delivery for orders over $30 is offered within a five mile radius, a press release stated.
