Cullum Homes continues construction amid COVID-19

Posted

Scottsdale-based luxury custom home builder Cullum Homes recently reported construction at all six of its Scottsdale and Paradise Valley communities are still on track and progressing amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cullum’s construction communities include The Village at Mountain Shadows; The Village at Silverleaf; The Village at Seven Desert Mountain; Ironwood Golf Villas; Paradise Reserve; and Cholla Heights.

“Our advanced technology, innovative building practices and techniques have always played an important role in being to deliver an outstanding and superior product to our clients, and thanks to some leading virtual and digital platforms, we have been able to keep clients up-to-date and projects moving along during this pandemic,” Rod Cullum, founder and CEO of Cullum Homes, said in a prepared statement.

Cullum has approximately 60 full-time employees working remotely from home or at various job sites. The luxury builder claims it has followed all federal mandates as it pertains to safety and social distancing protocols.

In addition, Cullum Homes employs a full-time safety director who oversees and maintains safety at all job sites and adheres to CDC guidelines to make sure all guidelines are followed on job sites, according to a press release.

Cullum Homes officials say the Valley is a coveted location, leading the company to make indoor air quality a priority in its building techniques for many years.

“Air quality, dust and allergens are a huge concern for people living in Arizona and we decided many years ago that we would only use building practices and techniques that keep our homes clean and energy efficient for many years to come,” Mr. Cullum said.

“Our homes are built so air tight and in such a way that you can leave for a month or several months at a time and when you come back there will be little to no dust because of the advanced air filtration and mechanical systems we use in the home.”

Many of those techniques are being used in Cullum’s latest model which is under construction at Seven Desert Mountain. There are 33 lots available for purchase at The Village at Seven Desert Mountain and the model is open by appointment so long as social distancing protocols are maintained and other CDC guidelines are followed.

Clients are also encouraged to take virtual tours of the models where they can view numerous amenities, floor plans, site maps, sizes and pricing.

Cullum Homes has several lots still available for purchase in several of its communities, including the Village at Mountain Shadows, The Village at Silverleaf, Paradise Reserve, Ironwood Golf Villas and Cholla Heights.

During this time when more people are working remotely, Cullum Homes introduced its newly designed website. The redesigned site offers a user-friendly experience with improved navigation and functionality, while showcasing more photos from Cullum’s vast projects.

The luxury builder has also created a blog that will showcase its work and the company’s building techniques. Users can peruse through the site including new enhanced sections like Home Concierge, Renovations, Custom Homes and Luxury Communities.
