TruWest Credit Union donates items to MCC Mesa Market

TruWest Credit Union employees recently donated food, pantry and hygiene items for the Mesa Community College “Mesa Market.”

TruWest partnered with MCC to refurbish the “Mesa Market” in early 2020. Since then, the Tempe-based credit union has continued to support and donate food and pantry items, according to a release.

The Mesa Market provides free food and hygiene products for Mesa Community College students. Any MCC student can visit Student Life and Leadership anytime the office is open to shop. Students can receive up to 10 free food items and five free hygiene items per week.

The Mesa Market is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday in KSC 35S at the Southern and Dobson Campus, 1833 W. Southern Ave; and in Mesquite 210 at the Red Mountain Campus, 7110 East McKellips Road, both in Mesa, according to mesacc.edu/student-life/services-campus-resources#pantry.
