The Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo, to be held Feb. 25-27 at the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds, 1590 E. Lost Dutchman Blvd., at Tomahawk Road, is a full eight-event rodeo, with professional cowboys and cowgirls competing for prize money beginning at 1:30 p.m. each day.
The classic events include bareback, calf roping, saddlebronc, steer wrestling, ladies breakaway roping, barrel racing, team roping and the crowd favorite of bull riding.
Adult tickets are $15 for the rodeo and $10 for ages 10 and under and are available at lostdutchmandays.org.
The rodeo features hundreds of contestants, all of whom put up an entry fee to win the coveted Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo prize money and belt buckles. Entries open at 7 a.m. Feb. 16 and close at 9 p.m. Feb. 18 at gcpra.net.
A carnival, the rodeo, vendor booths, free entertainment, food and more will be Feb. 25-27 at the main Event Center at the Apache Junction Rodeo Grounds, 1590 E. Lost Dutchman Blvd. Event Center admission is $2 and parking is free. Advance carnival wristbands are available at the Apache Junction Chamber of Commerce, 567 W. Apache Trail, for $25 and are $35 the weekend at the event.

- Noon-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24 — Annual bratwurst and beer party at Apache Junction Elks Lodge No. 2349, 2455 N. Apache Trail. Entertainment includes the following bands and showtimes: noon-2 p.m., tribute Shows to Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline performed by Carmen Ruiz and Johnny Starr Sampson; 2:30-4:30 p.m., Sylvia’s AZ Polka Band; and 5-8 p.m., Exit 40 Band.
- 7 p.m.-midnight Friday, Feb. 25 — Rodeo dance featuring the Canyon State Band, at Apache Junction Elks Lodge No. 2349, 2455 N. Apache Trail. Must be 21 or older to attend. Tickets are $5. Entertainment 7-11 p.m. by Canyon State Band.
- 9 a.m. start time Saturday, Feb. 26, for the Lost Dutchman Days Parade in downtown Apache Junction on Apache Trail between Idaho Road and Ironwood Drive.
